The Packaging of this Glossy box is gorgeous I love Marilyn photos she looks so Glamourous on all of the photos I have seen of her she was very Beautiful wasn't she??

Beauty Blogger Awards 2015 - See You There

Hello Lovelies,

Hope you are all well and are having a lovely weekend so far ....

I wanted to do this post on the Beauty Blogger Awards 2015 I have been getting emails for a few weeks to see if I wanted to take part in this event.

Even though I did go to college last year to study Beauty Therapy I am not a Make-Up Artist so I didn't want to compete in the show but I am going as a Beauty Blogger and will be able to discuss the event afterwards on my blog which I thought was nice.

Since I started my blog back In March I have wanted to go to a Bloggers event to meet other Bloggers this sounds like it could be the Perfect Opportunity for Me.....

I Did It - New Haircut

Hello Lovelies,

Hope you are well and are looking forward to the weekend.

I think I am going to be painting my kitchen this weekend and then as usual I will go to my mum's for her AMAZING Sunday dinner....

So I have been saying for quite awhile now that I wanted to cut my hair short again for the Summer I hate it when it's boiling hot and your hair just sticks to you so gross.

I normally get it cut short in the summer and then grow it out for the winter.

My hair just really needed a good cut from the dye that I have been using on it and my hair straighteners it was just so split and I had been meaning to do it for awhile but just never got around to doing it.

What I Am Loving About April

Hello Lovelies,

Some of the things I am loving in April is the P.S Nail Polish range from Primark.

At the moment these Nail polishes are just 80p they are such a bargain the cheapest nail polishes by far that I have found.

I don’t know anywhere else that does nail polishes at this price point apart from MUA and Poundland

I normally get MUA Nail Polishes but you don’t get as much product as you do with the primark nail polishes as the MUA Nail Polishes are MINI'S......

Book Review - Manic by Terri Cheney

Black & White Portrait Photography

I have always liked Black & White Portrait Photography so I thought I would share with you some of the photos I have taken....

I have always loved Photography for the last 10 years or so it's been a real hobby of mine and I have recently got a Digital SLR and have gone back to College to learn more about Photography it's really interesting.....

What I Got From Blackpool

Hello Lovelies,

On Saturday it was such a nice day mum and I decided to take ourselves off to Blackpool for the day . It was so lovely to just get away from everything even if it was just for a few hours.

While I was in Blackpool I did pick up a couple of things which is quite a touristy thing to do .

While on the pier I saw this gorgeous shop and literally everything in there was hand crafted made out of shells it really is a quaint shop.

I’m not sure of the name of the shop now but you should definitely check it out if your in the area and it’s the only shop on the Pier that sells shells so you will find it.

I love shells so much I have done every since I was a little girl I used to think those shells that you can buy that are ornaments that you hold up to your ear and can hear the sea were the coolest thing. It's almost like the sea is calling you. I still do think they are so cool....

It's A Lovely Day For A Trip To Blackpool

Hello Lovelies,

On Saturday the weather was just too beautiful so my mum and I decided at the very last minute to jump on a bus to go to Blackpool.

I haven't been to Blackpool in the spring/summer for many years and it was such a great idea to just get away for a few hours it took my mind of things and just left me feeling more positive about the future.

Blackpool is only an hour away by bus from where I live but the sun was out my mum and I were strolling on the sea front like we hadn’t got a care in the world.

It felt like we were on holiday rather then just an hour away from home it was lovely.

I went a bit mad whilst I was taking photos I’ll insert the best ones down below and introduce you guys to my mum who has just been my rock over this last year.

Pretty Flowers

I went to my mum's today as usual for Sunday dinner and on the way I saw these pretty flowers.
I love photography and really love bright coloured flowers so I thought I would take a few photos.

I actually took these photos with my Iphone I was surprised at just how nice they turned out they turned out better then my SLR I am still learning what each setting on the camera does.

White P.S Nail Polish From Primark & Essence 101 Dalmation Review

Today I thought I would do a quick review on both these nail polishes the White P.S Nail Polish from Primark and the 101 Dalmation from the Essence Range bought from Wilko....

I have tried many white nail polishes in my time but they have just looked really horrible and streaky and then I saw that Primark did one and it was only 80p so I thought I would give that a try and it looks so nice on it didn't leave my nails looking streaky it just looked like any other nail polish so this for me is My Perfect White.

The good thing about this nail polish from Primark is that it's within everyone's budget as it's 80p the only Negative I can think of is the smell of all the nail polishes Primark and this is no exception it smells quite bad. I know most Polishes smell pretty bad but this is worse then that. If you can get over that though it really is a good nail polish.

Illamasqua Nail Polish Review

This is a review that I did on my wordpress blog so if you were following me there you may have already it....

I love both of these nail polishes but my favourite is the maroon/purple colour it’s just stunning it has specks of glitter that run through it. The nail polish looks Amazing on and when the light catches the glitter in the nail polish it’s just Beautiful This colour is called Gliteratti

So yes if I could have only chosen one of the nail polishes it would have definitely been Gliteratti but I was lucky and saw this In TK MAXX on the Illamasqua Website This same set is £24.00 I got such a great deal it was just £5.00.

I could not believe they sold Illamasqua as it’s such a high end brand I Knew TK MAXX did brands like Ciate ,Nails Inc , and I have seen some Essie nail polishes also which I love.

Scandal Eyes & Kate Moss E/Shadow Crayons

I thought I would speak to you today about these Rimmel Scandal Eyes & Kate Moss Eye-Shadow Sticks.
I have heard so many great things on you tube about these and I do like the NYX eyeshadow pencils. I do only have the one from NYX in Leopard and I really love it.

I have always been curious about these Rimmel Scandal Eye-Shadow crayons and Kate Moss Eye-Shadow crayons.

So when I came across them in Poundland when I was in Southport with my Mum a few weeks ago I was quite happy as they are £4.49 in Boots at the moment.

Favourite Summer Scents

The weather is getting nicer and it makes me want to wear a nice floral scent so I thought I'd share with you some of my favourites.

Here they are in order of my favourite first .

This perfume is my all time favourite it has been for awhile now. I just love it, it's such a feminine scent perfect for the summer months. I use this perfume mainly when I go out that is why it's lasted me so long. I have had this j'adore perfume now for over 2 years which was a Christmas present. I've also got miniature j'adore perfume which I keep in my handbag for when I go out .

Sleek I-Divine Storm Palette

Back in February it was my birthday and I had some spare money left over and I had already bought one of these Sleek Palettes and at the time of me buying that one I desperately wanted this Storm palette by sleek but story of my life they had none in stock in my Superdrug.

I really loved the colours in this palette so I ordered this palette with the left over birthday money I had I ordered it I think the first week in March and It only arrived about 2 weeks ago.

If I am being honest so much has been going on I completely forgot about it until it turned up it was a nice surprise so I thought I would show you the photos that I took of the palette this is not a review because I have not tried it yet.

Models Own Rose Chrome Nail Polish (Finally Got My Hands On It At Last)

Hello Lovelies,

Hope you are all well....

I had an appointment in town yesterday so afterwards I went into superdrugs to get a drink their drinks fridge you have to go past the nail polishes.

Anyway awhile ago I went into Superdrug and picked up two of these Models Own Chrome Nail Polishes I had heard such positive things about them. I really wanted the colour Rose if you have been reading my posts by now you will probably know I love the colour Rose Gold. Anyway long story short they didn't have any left so I chose Silver and Olive.

I even looked on the website for this Rose coloured nail polish I just couldn't get it everywhere had sold out so I resigned myself to the fact that I would probably never get my hands on it.
I then went to Primark with my mum and there was a colour very similar a nice pretty rose colour just not the chrome effect so I picked that up instead.

So yesterday I was walking past the Models Own Stand and I saw that there was a nail polish in the colour Rose that I had been wanting to try for months so I bought it.

I am so pleased that I finally managed to get my hands on this particular colour.

The other colours that are got the Silver was such a let down I don't like this colour at all but the Olive colour I really do like it's gorgeous it looks gold in the daylight which is really pretty.

Red Dress From Primark

Hello Lovelies,

Hope you have had a lovely weekend....

I thought I would do a post on this lovely dress that I got from Primark a few months back. At christmas I wanted to wear a red dress as to me this is a really nice seasonal colour to wear for christmas time and everyone wears gold or silver so I thought a nice red dress would be something different. Could I find one the answer to that question is no I was so disappointed.

The reason I wanted a dress was because I had been invited out by friends over the christmas period.
Anyway I couldn't find a red dress so I wore a gold top I wore about 3 year ago when I went out for new year eve which was fine it's a nice top this dress would have been better though.

Summer Essentials

This is a post that I have written about previously but there was a technical problem on my blog and somehow the photos got removed and I had to remove the actual post so I have to do it for the third time which is annoying..... Hopefully this will be the last time.

Here are some of my summer essentials that I just cannot wait to start to wear again that's if they fit of course I have lost so much weight this past year due to circumstances that are beyond my control.

I love this dress so much that I will get it taken in if it doesn't fit me anymore.

Barry M Speedy Nail Polish - Eat My Dust and Barry M Glitter Top Coat First Impressions

Hope your all having a lovely weekend so far.

I am currently cooking dinner for my mum and I it's only pasta bake nothing to get too excited about but I do make a mean pasta bake.
So while I am waiting for that to cook and for my mum to arrive I thought I would do a quick post on the Nail Polishes that I have on my nails today which is Barry M Speedy Nail Polish in the colour Eat my dust which is a gorgeous lavender colour.

At first when I painted my nails I was just going to use this colour alone as I just love the colour then I remembered not so long ago I bought a Barry M Top Coat from B&M Bargains. The top coat has glitter in it and the colours of the glitter were a perfect match for this Barry M Speedy Nail Paint they just look gorgeous together so I am glad I did this so I can show you what it looks like.

A Day Out At The Marina Preston Docks

I had gone there with college the previous week but the photos didn't turn out that well as there was a lot of clouds in the sky.

New Blog Design And The Story Behind It

If you have been following me on twitter and following my other blog on wordpress.
https://beautywithandrea36.wordpress.com you will know by now that I have gone back to my original blogger account which is this one.

I wanted my blog to look more professional I was getting sick of the template on wordpress it looked so bland and If I had my way I would have stayed with wordpress but just got a new template which I did look into.

With the premade blogs from the etsy store you need to have a self hosted website if your on wordpress.
I didn't have that so this was the first thing I looked into I looked into Hostgator and a few others but they all wanted the first years payment up front with a credit card which I don't have. So I decided to go back to blogger I didn't realise it at the time but the blogger templates were a lot cheaper.

Hope you are all well....

If you have been on my blog yesterday you will have noticed that there were broken links all over the place which just made it look a mess.

At first I thought It may be the template as I am using a template that was purchased from blogaholic designs which is a lovely template so I contacted Emily from Blogaholic Designs who is fantastic by the way she gave me some technical support even though the problem had nothing to do with the template provide by Blogaholic Designs so I would like to say a big big Thank you to Emily for that.

Emily said that the photos were showing up like that because they had probably been deleted and that I should go and look on Picasa as the photos you upload to your blog on blogger are stored to Picasa.

I'm not sure how it happened but some of the photos were deleted and that is why they were not showing up on my blog.
I tried restoring the photos so I could just put them into the individual posts but that didn't work so it looks like I will have to do it from scratch again which I am not very happy about.
